I’ve been working on implementing the level select screen. The trick is that I want players to be able to see the levels while they switch through them. This means that I load all the levels’ data when the game is started up. Then I have that data available to pass to the level manager, which actually draws the level and handles some functionality around the level. So there’s a level data manager, and some dummy level data, so that I can get the screen together and implement the player interactions I would like.
Anyway, progress has been a bit slow because I’m on vacation, and I’ve been spending time with family :) I continue to work on THE MISSION when I have some bits of time here and there, but this vacation is indeed about relaxing and taking a break from all the work. I’ll be back for an update on Sunday!
